Got this new camera yesterday and I'm loving it!...I have a really nice big camera...Well I lost the charger to it...instead of going to buy a charger I just get another camera...my poor husband.

No, but really we just got this camera for our trip to the Bahamas because its really small and we don't want our big one to get stolen. Has anyone been to the Bahamas? I have never been and neither has my husband and my sister has been watching shark week and really has been freaking me out.

Any advice or places to go would be greatly appreciated! We have been really bad planners this time around and frankly sitting on a beach and doing nothing sounds great right about now! Anyways, any tips or ideas would be a great help! Thanks everyone!

Valentines Day

Valentines day is right around the corner

Usually we don't do much to celebrate the day but this year I have gone all out and put together the 14 days of love for my love!

Its been so much fun and I think he loves getting a gift everyday!! I tried to theme it so everyday I would do something with that number.

I made him 1 breakfast in bed

A reservation for 2 for dinner at my house and I'm COOKING! Which never happens.

I can't remember what I did this day!!

Just the 4 of us and I framed a picture of us and our 2 dogs

I picked up 5 different cheesy items at Wal Mart and wrote quotes with them.

six reasons why I love you

seven essential oils with a deck of 52 sex cards...5+2 is seven! lol

date night! we went to dinner and a movie!

9 years together...I wrote about why each year was special and the things I remember most

10 fingers give you a massage. Gift Certificate for a massage from me.

the best of all..he is going to be so surprised. A few weeks back I did a Boudoir session with an amazing photographer in Idaho falls and she put together an album for me to give him for Valentines day! It turned out absolutely amazing and I'm so please with it and can't wait to see his face when he gets it! Its been so hard keeping this secret from him and luckily he doesn't ever look at my blog or I would be in trouble!!

Does anyone else do the 14 days of love? Any ideas would be appreciated for day 13!!!

Christmas and my Birthday

Every year is the same.

Christmas comes and my birthday just runs right into it. I feel like such a jerk for getting so many presents around one time a year. I just feel like a spoiled rotten brat!

This year I was EXTRA Spoiled.

I got this watch from Codi for Christmas

And I got him a nice Coat.

We first started at my families house for Christmas and Codi and I got SO much from my parents.

I got a Kindle Fire which I am so happy about because I can read on this now!! My mom also got me a Victoria secret shirt I have been wanting and for my birthday she got me mini trifle dishes that I can't wait to use!

Codi got a really nice gun from my dad and everything he needed to go with it.

a few things from my mom like a Wusthof knife set which is really nice a sushi making kit and this weird thing you can hook up to your phone and you can type on the counter on it. (don't know the name of it)

the next weekend we went to Codis families house to celebrate Christmas with them we got spoiled some more!

Zoku Popsicle maker that I have been wanting. Along with some super nice snowshoes and my favorite perfume! His mom and dad also gave me money for my birthday which I spent on a new Northface Coat and some really amazing running tights!

Codi got a really nice rice cooker and some cash!

The next weekend (my birthday weekend) my amazing husband surprised me with a trip to here

Park City, UT

and then took me out to an amazing dinner here

and the next day took me to shop till I dropped! Literally I couldn't walk anymore

Then as if all my other presents weren't enough he gave me this...

I'm really going to have to outdo this birthday this year too...

Which will be easy because...we will be here...

This year we spent Thanksgiving with the Nukayas and it was a great time!

This is Codis favorite Holiday and it was an absolute blast!

It seems like Black friday gets earlier and earlier every year. So that night after we ate me and my two sister in laws went out for some crazy shopping, while the boys split up and went to do some shopping else where.

It was cold.

It was crowded.

We saw crazy people.

We must have been crazy too though we because we ended up on the news.

Halloween 2011

This fall we got together with my dads side of the family after Codi got home from Texas and made Apple cider!! It was so fun and a HUGE job! My grandpa has an apple press so we spent all day being busy bees making juice!

We had to wash all the apples outside in this huge bucket. The water was FREEZING!

Then they went through the press!

It doesn't look very hard but usually two of the guys would have to turn the press it is REALLY hard!! Codi ended up doing most of the pressing. What a tough guy!

Maui 2011

This year we took a little vacation to Maui after Codi got home and 3 days after I did my half marathon in October. It was perfect. Weather was amazing and we did so many awesome things!!

such as...

*Went on a snorkeling tour and got to swim with turtles, saw sting rays and eels.

We touched starfish, urchins, an octopus that crawled on our stomachs!

We swam with tons of fish and got to kayak our in the ocean! So incredibly amazing!*

*lived in our bathing suits for an entire week*

*We went and swam in the sacred pools in Oheo Gulch on the Road to Hana which took all day.

There was so many pretty waterfalls and offroad hikes where we found the BEST banana bread ever!* *Ate amazing tropical fruits*

*We got to see a black sand beach which was my FAVORITE beach of all*

*We hiked to a blowhole (so cool)*

*Our hotel was so huge and GORGEOUS! We stayed here most of the time because it was so beautiful and simply paradise. It was on the south side of Maui where all the most beautiful beaches are so we snorkeled everyday*

*Went to a luau*

*We ate at the best restaurants*

our favorite was called *Freds*

*We went to Warren and Annabelles Magic Show in Lahaina which was FANTASTIC this guy had us laughing so hard I couldn't stand it! We would pay double to go again!*

*Had delicious shaved ice*

*Tried taro for the first time*

(and hated it)

*Found out I don't like Hawaiian cuisine*

but LOVE the Hawaiian Culture

everyone was so wonderful!

Pink Series Half Marathon!

Park City 2011

Me and Jessie decided to do the Park City Half Marathon and it is an all women race and I can't even tell you how amazing/horrible it actually was!!!

Cons

*snowed/rained the entire time*

*Jessie fell and biffed it*

*our bus left us in the cold for an hour before the race, also our bus almost ran into a mountain*

*Couldn't feel our feet for the first 4 miles*

*I hurt my ankle and couldn't walk for a few days after the race*

Pros

*I beat my RT (record time)

2.29.32*

*Our swag bags were awesome this race! we got skull candy ear buds, chocolate, lara bars, free massage lots of other cool things*

*Our hotel was bangin' definitely going back*

*No boys allowed except the cute guys that gave us our metals*

*there were pacers at the race to help us beat our time*

(definitely my favorite part of the race)

*Best part is my cute husband made it to the race

The pros actually outweighed the cons therefore I am doing it again next year!!

I was so busy this summer and it went by so fast!

Me and my dad planted a garden together and it was so FUN!

I have not gotten to be this close to my dad in a long time and this is something we both enjoyed doing together.

It was really fun pretending I did.

I try to domesticate myself but I don't think I have it in me.

My dad and mom both had a birthday in July I only have a picture of my dads though!

We moved Jessie out of her apartment! I'm glad she isn't in that scary place anymore! It was just me and my dad and sister and we all actually had a ton of fun doing it!! We even got to sleep on the floor and my dad brought these mattresses and sleeping bags it was so fun I've never done that before haha

This summer also my sweet sweet great grandma Cannon passed away and we all miss her so much!

I had just gotten home from Texas and I'm so glad I was back so I could make it to the funeral.

She was the nicest, most proper and cute woman I have ever met!

Im just so thankful to have known her and all the nice talks we shared together up until she died are something I will cherish forever!

I know she is up in Heaven looking down on us hoping one day we will keep as nice and tidy home as she did! With lots of blue furnishings!

I got to spend a LOT of time with my awesome sister Jeni! She is such a crazy girl and speaks her damn mind just like I do, so when I moved into her room this summer..(seriously just moved right in without even asking I don't think she was very happy with me), but I didn't care we seriously had such a great summer together and I think she even misses me a little now that I'm not there.

I got to watch her dance a lot this summer and she is so truly talented Im so happy for her that she has that in her life I think she has found her true passion.

I love you Jen and you are turning into a beautiful young lady!

We went to Shoshone Falls this summer and it was just so nice!! I hadn't been in a long time and it was such a great weekend to do it. It was just an amazing summer getting to spend all my time with my mom.

Her and I joked and teased and had a BLAST! I haven't really gotten to spend much time with my mom since I graduated high school and it was just really nice to be back in the house with her again joking around and being really bitchy to each other.

seriously..we are complete opposites and she even tells me that she doesn't know how she birthed me. We are so different and I just love her! I'm so lucky to have such a great mom! And I think oddly enough our bickering brings us closer haha.

There was also a flood in the basement of my parents house this summer and boy that was fun!

I don't have any pictures of it but we had to repaint the downstairs lay new carpet and clean out the WHOLE basement. I had my work cut out for me but that took a majority of the summer as well. Im glad I was there to help my parents though because I don't think they could have done it without me there ;)

Codis summer in a nutshell

He started out this summer in Iowa which was really nice and easy going...

About a month in Codi comes home one night and gets a phone call from the sales manager (3 in the morning) saying they are moving that morning to Midland, Texas

Codi gets a U-haul and off they go.

They were all pretty stressed not knowing whats going down and if Codi still even had a job.

Their office inhailed the guys who were already in Texas giving Codi more responsibilities and even more pay.

Great!

3 days in and no sleep later

Codi goes to jail...

Not so great.

Finally, everything starts settling down and they start thowing down systems like CRAZY.

I get to visit in June and again in August

Finally some time to spend together

Codi is doing amazing and even though I get to be with him a little while all he does is this...

Even this...all day everyday.

He is so hard working and seriously so amazing at what he does. I'm so proud to call him my husband and it was awesome to watch what he does and see first hand all of the responsibilities he has to do everyday.

After August he stayed an extra month in Texas to work "Extended"

which just means work an extra month that they don't include in the summer

which was really awesome for him.

Finally he got to come home in October where I think he is really enjoying not working (so much).

Everyone seems to love Codi and I know why!! He is so dedicated to his work and his guys and always is trying to make things easier and better on everyone even if it means he has to work 7 days a week 24 hours a day!

Im so proud of him and I know he truly loves his job and all of the work that comes with being a manager!

I love him and you would too!

We ARE back!!!

I can't believe I haven't blogged ALL spring, summer, and now all of a sudden it is almost December! We have had the most crazy summer yet and it went by in a flash. Codi is home now from being out since April working for Vivint as an operations manager and I'm back as well from living in Idaho with my family doing all sorts of new exciting things. So we now are united again in our nice house in Logan with our sweet dogs and are FINALLY getting settled again. (slow down winter I need as much time with Codi as I can get until he leaves me again in April!)

New at the Nukayas

So this being married gig has gotten me really fat!!! well not really fat just more fat than I was on my wedding day which really sucks! So, I am now doing p90x which is SUPER hard and I am officially on day 10. I am actually quite impressed with myself that I have not quit considering last week was a week from hell and I could barely sit, stand, or even walk! I am actually excited now that my pain is going away and looking forward to the next 80 days!! I was going to take before and after picture...(which would really be motivating..but I didn't really want to scare myself that bad, or you reading my blog!) Wish me luck!!

Also, I just signed up for the top of Utah Half Marathon I did last year with my sister and stupid me thought it would be fun to do this year as well...here we go again!!

Happy Valentines Day

This year was a lot different...we actually don't even like Valentines day and we have NEVER celebrated it...but I have to say it was kind of fun! We made a really nice dinner and I put together a bag full of Valentines treats for Codi which was hardly anything compared to the diamond earrings he got me!!

The boys had a good one too! They got a treat bag themselves full of balloons (which they LOVE) and toy Valentine monkeys.

They were so proud of their own Valentines!

$3,000.00 Dollar Mirror...

Oh how I love mirrors. No, not because I love looking into them but because I'm a girl and we need them I find myself looking into them and at them way too often and not to mention they just dress up your house so nice! I don't know why but I have always had this weird thing about mirrors...

Poor, poor Codi, Its the best day of the year for me and the worst for him. He was gone for my Birthday so he took me out to my favorite restaurant before he left and promised to do something after he got home. All year long I talk about my birthday and am always adding things to the "list" that I want and he does such a great job at making sure I'm always happy.

We went to Nordstroms and I bought some Hard Tail Yoga clothing which is by far my favorite workout clothing which by the way is sooo overpriced {my husband is the best}!! We had a nice lunch in Provo too and thinking of it now I can't even remember where we went so it must have not been that good. We then headed down to Thanksgiving Point where we went to the Emplorium my good friend Chelsea told me about. And if you have not been there..GO! It is so pretty and I wanted to buy everything there (including this Bonsai Tree which Codi said I CAN'T have because I kill everything that requires a minimum amount of water and sunlight)...and I actually saw a few prices of the furniture and lets pray to God Codi gets an AMAZING pay raise in the next ten years so when we build a house I can buy all the things I want there ;)

Then there was a mirror....

After seeing all the other prices of furniture I knew I couldn't have it but oh how I wanted it! (Along with everything else) but really 3 thousand for a mirror?

I'll just add it to my birthday list for next year :)

In Loving Memory

October 18, 1923 - September 2, 2010

Hard working, devoted husband, brother,father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Grandpa, you will be greatly missed. We love you.

The service was so beautiful and everything went smoothly that day. Brent (Codis dad) gave a great talk on Sho, and Codi also spoke at his funeral on his memoirs. And of course, Lacie did a beautiful job singing, she brought us all to tears.

It truly was a bittersweet time. It was so great to be around family for the weekend, we don't really see too much of Brents side so it was nice to be able to talk to everyone again I don't think we have seen most of them since Codi and I's wedding!

Family truly is everything and I think some of the times we take them for granted. Im so blessed and lucky to have married into such a loving caring family like the Nukayas. I love you all and thank you for letting me be a part of such a wonderful family.

New and fun at the Nukayas!

Codi is home YAY!!!!! That is definitely something new around the Nukaya house! It is so good that he is home now and so crazy that I lived 4 months without him here! I love it and I cant believe how fast this summer has gone by. Now he is starting school back up and here is his first day of school picture! (yes we still take those)

After I got home from Virginia (literally the day after I got home) I went and got a new Piercing!! I got my tragus pierced! It was so scary and sporadic. My sister came with me and I LOVE IT!

This summer Jessica and I ordered the best palettes from Sephora and if you don't have this you need it! Its the new Naked palette from urban decay and I just couldn't live without this baby in my makeup bag!

We recently just added a new little guy to the family named Elliot. We absolutely love this crazy boy and Finn is so happy to have his own little brother now.

A few weeks before Codi left for Virginia he bought this car, and a few weeks after he came home he sold it and we got a new one because I cant drive stick!! I love love our new car, we got a Malibu and so far it has treated us well (pictures to come).

This summer I ran my first half marathon and it was such a great experience! I ran it with Jessie and our friend Kyra. Running has recently been a new thing I have gotten into these past few years and I was so proud to say I finished my first official race!

And...Im blonde! I can officially say during summer 2010 I turned into a blondie...its still so weird when people refer me to blondie at work because I have never had light hair until now! Its so new and fun and I have to admit I really think blondes do have more fun!

May 7th Codi left the Salt Lake City air port for Virginia Beach I finally got to see him again when I flew out to the east coast on July 3rd!! It was so great to see him and give him such a great big hug and kiss. Let me tell you that it was a pretty big deal for me to fly to see him because I absolutely HATE airplanes. I did such a great job on my own though proud to say and I got to see such a great view flying into Virginia (I actually thought we were going to land on the ocean it was so scary).

On the 4th of July we were invited by Codis boss and his wife to go sailing and it was so FUN!! Such a great experience and I cant wait to go do it again!! The weather was so perfect and we spent the whole day on the boat and watched the fireworks that night from the water! I must say it was simply beautiful!

The whole week went by so fast and Codi didn't take off any days of work so that meant that I went to work with him haha it was very different from what I do everyday and I got to meet a lot of (interesting) people.

Virginia {Beach}
Codi has now been away for 5 days now! Finn and I miss him like wild already!
Anyone have any great ideas for me how I can make this summer go by super fast?? Never in my wildest dreams would I ever have thought I would want summer to go by fast...Only 51 more days till I get to fly out and see him!
Codi and I are also having a few contests while he is away, one to see who can make the most money, and who can be in the best shape by the end of the summer...I'm going to win! You're goin' down Code! (he probably wont ever read this!)

We went to Provo over the weekend for a work party for Codi and it was WAY FUN!! I even won Walkie Talkies!! But Codi is taking them with him to Virginia :( sad...But we did get to go to all of my favorite places while we were there...which was so sweet of Codi to take me and sit there while I did my girl thing and SHOPPED!

We went here and ate for the first time and it was surprisingly really light and GOOD! I was skeptical at first but I do have to say I approve. I am a very picky eater so its always hard to find places I like and can eat. We give you 2 thumbs up!

State Cheerleading In Boise

I love love love love Cheerleading!!! So of course I wanted to watch my sissy Jess at her last competition as a Cheerleader!! It was sooo much fun to be back at the state cheer competition but sooo much different because I have never watched before! The girls did AMAZING!!! They took 1st on their sideline cheer and 2nd on the show cheer. I seriously am soo proud of all the hard work that they have done to get such a solid squad and proformance! However, they didnt take state and were sooo bummed by it! Jess really wanted that state ring :)! I really couldn't be more proud of her though and I hope she knows that!! I love you Jess!!

My mom booked us a sweet hotel suite in town so we just swam and kicked it around the place and I had a really great time spending the weekend with my family back in Boise, Idaho. After the competition the next day we shopped ALLL DAY! It was so nice going shopping with my sisters again and just being girls! Me and Jess got some awesome new workout stuff for the summer wahoo and it was my 2nd weekend in a row I had been to cabellas haha. Jeni got a bunch of stuff from Justice her favorite store and we had to stock up on our MAC. We also went to my favorite pet shop EVER...Northwest Pets...I got some stuff for Finn...cause i love him...and of course we couldn't leave out Mr. Krispy Kreme...

We got two dozen of these babies...and we seriously ate most of them that day....

Spring break for Jeni!

Jeni came to stay with me a few days while Codi was in Texas and we had a ton of fun together!! The first thing she wanted to do when my mom left was go to the park and play on the toys. So we did just that! It was really fun to get out of the house for an excuse to sit at the park watching my sister and watching Finn play with the ducks...(chase the ducks). Then we went home and watched movies all night. The next few days I was working all day and she really wanted to go to this place called Elements for dinner one night and it was sooo great!! Its one of my favorite places in Logan to eat and I think its Jens favorite now too!! We ordered sooo much food and had to take most of it home!! It really wasnt too much of an eventful few days but we sure had a ton of fun together especially because we never see each other too much anymore.

It was a really special week for Jessie last week she hit some major milestones...

We all went to Cameo in Salt Lake (the Esthetic school she will be attending) and got a tour of it and got all of her schooling figured out and we couldn't be more happy for her!!! The school was sooo nice it looked exactly like a spa and the advisors seemed so nice as well. my sisters and my mom and I all got to put our faces in this machine that shows all your blackheads and more horrible things...and of course Jessies was pretty much flawless...she definately had her work cut out for her and a lot of willing family members to practice on :) I know she is going to do great and love the start to her career!

Our trip didnt go all as planned though...we broke down right in the parking lot of Cameo and luckily there was a repair shop right next door and an AMAZING brazillian grill because we had to sit there all day while the car was getting fixed...

at the shop haha Im sure the people that worked there were soo happy to get us gone!

I spent the day with my sissy at her work and we had the best time!!! I got to watch her use her mad skills with the Vita Mix and she made me the best frappuccino I've ever had in my life + a bagel with bacon chive cream cheese + avacado I brought for the special occasion..(that was so worth hurting my tummy)!! My momma even came and visited us and we finished up the day with a game of Chess (game we always played growning up) where I kicked her butt like always :)

The best series I have EVER read!! The Black Dagger Brotherhood!! I started reading these books just a few weeks back and have totally fallen in love! Its a vampire series (of course) so much better than Twilight and I absolutely adore Twilight! But I cant get enough of these books! I have started reading them slower because I just dont want the series to end...there are seven books in this series and each one tells the story of a different brother. FANTASTIC! I would sit here and tell you the whole dang story about them all but I wont ruin it for you...you have to read them!

We have definately had a few very eventful weeks here at the Nukaya house! To start off here it was Codis birthday and he turned 22!! It was such a great weekend I didnt have to work and Codis family came down to our house and stayed. We went out to eat about 4 times while they were here and I gained about five pounds!

He opened all his presents on saturday night, He got clothes and money and an alarm clock he has been wanting for a while now that plays really relaxing nature sounds and Im pretty sure I like it more than he does! His brother Taylor got him some pretty funny things. Codi cut his arm and finger a while back opening my veggie burgers and he should have went to get stitches but I couldnt get him to go...so Taylor got him some pampered chef finger guards and some wrist bands to protect himself! haha from now on I think he will be wearing those while he is fixing dinner...he also got him some shirts! I got him a pedicure from the spa I work at and this shower curtain rod he has been wanting and some more shirts! I made his favorite dessert banana cream pie and he wanted coffee cake as well and I didnt even ruin them! I was actually really impressed.

The best part of course though was seeing our family and our cute little neice and nephew Kaycia and Taidg!! We love them soo much and I think its the cutest thing when Kaycia and Codi are together because she just never leaves his side! She loves her Uncle Toad!

It was such a great weekend and we are so thankful to have great family to share it with! We love you all and cant wait for the next weekend we get to see you!

Next on the list of long crazy events!

Finn had to get surgery...poor little guy...he has been limping around on his leg for a while and so we took him in also as well to get his shoulder looked at because he has a patch of hair missing...the doctor says finn is a very rare case! haha so he had a spot on his toe that needed to get removed so while we were at it we had them clean his teeth as well since he would be under. THEN...they told us finn has mites...finn always has to take medication every month because he has had worms and fleas and yada yada..pretty much everything dogs can get...mites are really rare I guess though especially this type he has because only baby puppies get it so we were baffled that he had them but I guess they told us he just has a really low immune system and cant fight off any of those things by himself! poor Finn!! so he has to take medicine for that once a day for three months...so add that to his list of medicine and he is one expensive puppy! I think those two days we dropped about 500 dollars on the little dog...he is worth it though cause he is our little baby! we love you Finn but please quit getting sick!!

Codi has decided he is going to Boston for the summer to work for APX Alarms. He is actually leaving this next weekend to go to Texas over spring break to work there! He is such a hard worker and I love his determination but I am going to miss him so much while he is gone to Boston! I am going to stay here in Logan because my work is really starting to pick up and so I will visit him a week or so there. I cant wait for this summer to be over already! sad to say! But it will be a good thing for both of us!

Codi is also selling his motorcycle! which im sad even though I hate riding it! I really have grown to like it...thats okay though because he wont be able to use it this summer anyways and he needs to buy a new car for Boston...

All in all these last few weeks have been so eventful and crazy that I haven't even been able to work out! (as Im sitting here on my butt updating my blog, some things are just more important ;) ) So Im really looking forward to things settling down so I can get back to training for the half Im running this summer! Anyways all is great here at the Nukaya house and I am loving every minute of it!

I have a new thing where everyday I wake up I tell myself five reasons why I love my life! They can be people or things or even just reasons why I love being me! So I thought today I would share my five loves of the day!

#1 My first love of the day is my Vita Mix! If you dont have one you need one!! I use this baby everyday and Im so happy I have it because it keeps me eating healthy! I love you Vita Mix!

#2 my 2nd love is my bouquet from my wedding! Its in hanging in the hall and everyday I pass by it EVERY TIME I think about how much I love it and I loved the day I got married! I love you bouquet!!

#3 my third love is my father in law! We have grown quite close this past year and he has helped me with numerous trials in my life and I really appreciate him for that! I love him very much (plus the other three parents) but today especially for the great relationship we have made in these past few months! I love you Brent!

#4 my fourth love is my running! I am training for a half marathon right now and it is something I have been wanting to do for a while! I am loving the training and I am loving the great workouts I have been getting even though I am starting out slow! I am so excited and I cant wait to finish the race! I love you running!!

#5 I saved the best for last and my fifth love is my husband Codi! I love him so much and I wouldn't want to wake up any other way than right next to him! he is the best start to my morning and I love everything he does and everything he is! I love you Codi!

Happy Birthday to me!

It was my birthday on January 5th and I turned the big 22 this year!! Codi is always so sweet to me on my birthday and he took work off and dedicated the whole day to whatever I wanted to do! So I took my sweet sweet time getting ready and we went to a matinae and saw the Avatar which was really good!! I think I would have liked it better if I was watching it at home because I was on a bit of a sugar high from eating a laffy taffy I bought at the theatre! I could NOT sit still!! after the movies we just hung out at home and decided where I wanted to go for dinner and I picked Elements which was soo good!! Its a contemporary style resturaunt and the food there is great! I had salmon of course and we went to coldstone and Codi bought me an ice cream cake for dessert! It wasn't too much of a big deal but I got lots of calls from friends and family wishing me a happy birthday! It was a perfect day for me, and Codi made it that much better getting to spend it with him!

it was so nice to see them all it had been Thanksgiving the last time we saw them! We hardly took any pictures at all this trip we were kind of wore out with pictures by this time.

We got spoiled again with gifts from codis side of the family and got to spend a lot of time everyone which was the best part! Chris Tiff and Dempsey were down and we spent most of the time with them and Codis dad!

Codi and I and Chris and Tiffani didnt get to go to the dinner that Grandma Nukaya planned ealier for everyone else so she invited us over for sushi one of the days we were there. I just love Codis grandparents they are the cutests sweetest people I have ever met and Im so lucky to be able to call them my grandparents now! We had a lot of fun and just really enjoyed relaxing!

I think the best part of the trip was getting to spend time with our neices and nephew! They are all getting so big and they are soo much fun! We love them all so much and think they are the cutest things to walk the earth! I wish I would have gotten more pics this trip but better luck next time!

Jessica turned 18 the 27th of December and so I decided to throw her an unbirthday tea party on the 26th for her to celebrate! It was so much fun! We decorated my moms house and had a trivia game that we played. Everyone dressed up we drank tea and snacks and big womping chocolate cake!

Im kind of bummed I didn't get that many pictures but the party turned out great and everyone was very up to date on their Wonderland Trivia! The game was so much fun at the end the teams were tied so they both had to do skits! It was the funniest thing I ever watched I wish I would have recorded it to put on here.

Christmas at the Wests

This year we got to spend Christmas at my families house! the Madness started at one in the morning on the 24th! Codi got finished with Work at midnight which was the 23rd so we decided why not just drive to Rupert really late (or early) on Christmas eve and be in Rupert and get to spend more of the day with my family. It was so much fun we played 20 questions the whole way there. Codi always makes me laugh and it was just so fun to spend the car ride with him and my Finn!!

I got to see my sisters and mom and dad and they spoiled us like always. Our special tradition that we always do on Christmas eve is go to my Grandma and Grandpas house and we eat dinner and then Santa Claus comes and gives us presents! It was so nice to see all our family again! So this year was Codis 2nd year and my 21st year! After that we went over to my dads parents house and wished my grandma happy birthday! It is always so nice to be with family around the Holidays! Then It was off to bed for all of us when we got home!

We woke up Christmas morning at 630 and pretty much everyone was already up except my dad. Everyone loved what they got especially Finn!! Santa claus brought him Zhu Zhu pets and a hampster ball to play with them. He hasnt been able to leave it alone ever since! We had another get together that day at my dads parents house which was so nice to see my aunt and uncle and cousins. My grandma makes the best food and we all ate way too much! It was such a great day! We ended the night playing dominos which I have never played before and LOVED IT! It had been a crazy few days but so great to be with family!

Jess Ma Tess is our Senior!

This summer is when Jessie got her senior pics taken and doesn't she just look like a model!? I cant believe my {little} sissy is going to graduate this year! I went with her to both of her sessions which was an in studio session and an outdoor session and every single picture couldn't have been more perfect!

We had soo much fun!! Even watching her was fun! We first went to Idaho falls met Kristi at her studio and took some fun outdoor downtown Idaho falls pictures! I dont know how she does it but she is a true artist! I could never be a photographer!

We also went and bought bubbles {my cousin Heidi and I} and you would never tell but those bubble pictures were really hard to catch! There was three of us standing over jess blowing till we couldn't breathe anymore! I was laughing so hard it was sooo much fun!! Then she found these awesome wings on a brick wall and made Jess do some posing that didn't look very comfortable haha. Then they were off to the studio that same day and took some great black and white pictures! I just cant believe how pretty they turned out!

We waited for a few more weeks then returned to Idaho falls only we didnt end up going there for her outside session we actually went past pocatello to this place, lets call it, out in the middle of no where! Jess brought her friend Kyra and it was a journey!! We had to walk across bridges, climb fences, and dodge cow poop which actually Kyra didn't do so well haha and there were so many mosquitos that we were all sick of the taste of bug spray towards the end of the night! But everything was so worth it in the end because there was some great waterfalls, scenery and of course the photos turned out gorgeous!

The only hard part about this whole thing was picking out the pictures she wanted for her album!! it was HORRIBLE! my whole family was there and it took us a few hours before we could narrow it all down! All in all I think we all chose well :) It was such a great time!

Jessie is not only my younger pretty sister that I really do look up to but she is my best friend and I love her so much!! We love doing everything together and I really am so lucky to have her in my life! I love you Jess!!

Thats it! Im finished, completely DONE! This is finally the end of the nuclear wars that have been going on in my stomach for the past 21 years! I know, I know, I have said it before,"I'm never eating Gluten again!" Then that sneeky little chocolate cupcake has to tease my taste buds or those sly saltine crackers that I love so much just decide to crawl into my mouth. You know I am pretty health concious and usually have good self control. I dont eat fast food, I wont eat red meat, vegetables are always on the menu, but everything seems to have gluten in it and Im having a hard time tackling it especially when I want something I know I shouldn't have. I sometimes think everything in moderation is fine, but not this time. Gluten has been and will always be the enemy. It has to be faced head on and beat down with a bamboo stick! starting now!

Yes, I am allergic to wheat and it is absolutely killing me slowly! Its been the biggest roller coaster ride of my life and I really hate myself for living like this. My diet has changed considerably from where it was but I still am so tired of waking up every morning to a bloated gut and retching stomach pain. Its time to face the music and take control of my body! Its going to be a long hard road but somebody has to do it, and unless I want to be tube fed for the rest of my life {which at this point actually doesn't sound like a bad idea} then its me that has to change my ways!

Around 5 months ago I read the book series Skinny Bitch and absolutely believed everything I read was true. Its a book about two women who are Vegan, why they chose to be, and why it is so beneficial for your body. I took so much out of this book along with GREAT products I buy that are gluten free and dairy free and eat on a daily basis. I absolutely love this book and recomend it to everyone! I did try Vegan for a while and it was pretty tough Im not going to lie but it was amazing the way my body reacted to it all! I especially thought it was tough because I was trying to eliminate Gluten and all animal products at the same time. It was a horrible mistake on my part and I would love to try it again but this time I need to get my gluten obsession taken care of first!

I have the most loving husband in the world and I asked him if he would help me get started with this new lifestyle change. I mean come on, I can't do this on my own! He told me he would help me like the great guy he is and so we are starting the journey to a healthier us. I know this is something Codi really doesn't want to persue so he said he would help me out a few months and he will go back to his bad habbits ;) I am hoping after we get a good start he will 2nd think going back because of all the great non gluten recipes im going to try! :)

All in all I really just can't wait to be gluten free its going to be a huge milestone in my life and I know my husband has had to put up a lot from me! After all, a happy wife, is a happy life :)

Crafty Me!!

Sewing Codis Stocking!

I have never been the one for crafts or making things on my own period! This holiday season though I have made a few things myself that I am very proud of and had sooo much fun while doing them!

I decided last year I wanted to make Codi a stocking to match the style of my own since he didnt have one. I started sewing it right before Christmas last year and FINALLY finished it before Christmas this year! It was so much work but soo worth it. It turned out so great and Im happy to say I made it myself.

Also, my sister Jessie and myself are in the process of making magnet boards for each other for Christmas it has been so much fun not only making them but doing it together!! They arent finished yet but they are so cute I just wanted to post some pics of them now! Codi and my dad helped us build them and Jess and I painted and are decorating them now :) I love my sister and love that we can do such fun things together.

Halloween!!
We had such a great time this year! All we did was sit at home after I got finished with work and made yummy treats and watched scary movies. We got quite a lot of trick or treaters this year and it was a lot of fun! Im pretty sure everyone liked us the best, Codi kept telling them they could take however much candy they wanted! I think he just wanted to get rid of it early... We also carved our pumpkins VERY late this year but its okay because we still got them outside and lit for the night! I love spending lots of time with my husband and it was such a nice relaxing with him on such a fun night!

This is one of the cool thing we made I got the recipe from Paula Dean and It looks soo gross but it was AWESOME! its pillsburry crescent rolls that are filled with sandwhich meats and cheeses and baked in the oven! we painted him green...its suppose to be a snake but ours looks like a slug! and codi gave him a pepper tongue and two bat eyes from our cup cakes haha!!

These last few weeks have been really crazy for us! My sister, Jessie had her senior prom and she looked sooo beautiful!! I definately wanted to post some pictures of that! We went to the Homecoming game the night before and of course Minico won! Jessie did sooo great cheering she is such a great cheerleader and I really love watching her I'm really glad she decided to cheer her senior year! So Alex, Codi, my Dad, Jeni and I went to the game and it was FREEZING! Good thing we brought blankets and coats! The next day Jess got up and went on her day date with Alex and Im not really sure I remember what they did I think they went and had lunch in Burley and spent some time together because Alex just got home a few days before from TEXAS!! Shes been missing him lots so Im really glad he was able to take her to her senior Homecoming. Then she went and got her hair done and came home and got ready. Alex came and got her and she said she had such a great time at the dance!! They both looked sooo great together and we love them both!

We also moved into our new house!! Which I really dont have pictures of as of right now but I'll for sure post some later! We really appreciate Codis mom and brother Taylor who came and helped us move! We could NOT have done it without them, they saved us! Jeanette and I cleaned and unpacked while the boys loaded everything in the house! We started early and ended very late and they still had to go back home because the next day they were helping Lacie and Jeremy move into their new house!!! After they left I could not walk another step I was so exhausted! We are absolutely in love with having our own place! It has been just perfect and I cant wait to decorate it how I want to!

Codi also left this weekend to help his sister and brother in law move into their house! We are so happy for them and I cant wait to see their place! Finn also went with him to play with Zeke (his friend) I hear he is having a great time! So much fun in fact I guess he was so excited he threw up on their new carpet...sorry Lacie! So, I had a very relaxing night and caught up on my Desperate Housewives and ordered a pizza! It was so nice!! I love having my boys home but I love a little me time too! I cant wait till they come back though!! I am missing them lots!

So all in all its been a really long and crazy time for us but we wouldn't change it at all!! We have great family and we love our new house! We are excited to see what else this crazy life holds for us! Love you all!

Our First Year Anniversary!
This weekend we celebrated our first year anniversary!! yay!! We have been so busy with all this house crap that we were DYING to get away! We went to Salt Lake City and had such a great time! We went to this AWESOME extremely fancy gourmet resturaunt called Bambara the night we got there, and it was pretty much amazing. I actually only have two pictures from there because I was scared to take my camera out! Then I saw this other couple take theirs out so I got gutsy and asked the waitor to take our picture! haha we had this awesome calamari and they serve you pita bread with this squash spread it was sooo great but I really don't think Codi was too impressed with the place. Codi had steak and I had Salmon and of course dessert...which was to die for!!! We ordered a Chocolate Mousse with a coconut macaroon crust I could eat that everyday and not care that I get fat!! Their dishes are so tiny and pretty that Codi was about starved when we got to the Improv Theatre which is what we did after!..and Ill tell yuh it was so funny! It was so much fun spending the night with Codi just hanging out and driving around, just being together! Codi and I at Bambara!! The Chocolate Mousse with nectarines!! aka: the best dessert in the world!

We stayed at the Anniversary Inn and stayed in the Swiss Family Robinson Suite and it was pretty cool! The bed was up in the tree and Im not kidding you it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in! They serve you breakfast in bed which was cinnamon roll this ham egg cheese croissant and we got two orange juices and two hot chocolates and also this really good yogurt granola with berries!! It was so nice we just relaxed in bed till about 10:30 and then we decided we wanted to go to the mall (I decided really, Codi was just so sweet to take me because he HATES shopping) So Thats what we did and I guess we got there too early because none of the stores were open and I got all bummed because I thought they weren't open sunday...but we just hung out for a while, went to starbucks and sure enough things started to open! Codi got a few items of clothing at A&F. I spent like an hour in J crew trying to decide what to buy and I came out with nothing then later that night we had to call them to send me a coat I actually really did want haha my husband is the best!

Peach Pickin'!!

Today was such a great day! I ended up having to work at the spa a little bit and Codi's mom, Jeanette, came to visit us on her way home from staying in Washington with some friends of hers. Lona was her ride home, so she came to our house from Shelly, and from there we met Chris, Tiff, Dempsey, and Jeanette in Brigham City for lunch at Maddox! Gosh it was so great to see everyone! Lunch was really good! I've never been to Maddox but my Dad is always saying how he loves the food there. Boy was he right! They even raise their own cows and they are famous for their fried chicken! I had the halibut, which was FANTASTIC! Codi had the biggest steak I have ever seen in my life, it was a 32 oz. Porterhouse! And he finished the whole thing...I must say...even for not being a meat fan...I was very proud! ;) After, we had their Peach Pie Ala mode and we came to the conclusion that it's just not as good as my mother in laws!! But they do make their own homemade ice cream which is super yummy!! Then we were off to the next big event of the day which was going to pick up some fresh Peaches! Jeanette bought Codi and I some beautiful fruit! Plums, Peaches, Watermelon, and these sweet peppers that we are excited to try. Oh, and Codi's new found favorite, Mango's! It was so nice getting to see Tiff Chris and Dempsey because we hardly EVER see them!! Demsey is just getting so big and everytime we see her I swear she gets cuter! I have such great in laws and Im very blessed to have married in such a sweet, loving family! Love you all!

The Nukaya's Weekly Update!

These weeks just keep getting longer and more busy!! As of today we are officially in contract with buying our Townhouse!! WOOHOO!! So that means we will be able to move in 2-3 weeks!! We can not wait to get out of the crummy appartment and into our new house to decorate and get out all our awesome furniture! I swear if Codi and I don't kill each other before these next few weeks are over I will be very surprised!!

I have the best Dad in the world!! Yesterday he came down to Logan to do the inspection on our Townhouse and everything was in tip top shape!! I was so happy to see him even though I get to see him quite often its rare for him to come visit us! We took him out to the Beehive Grill for lunch. The boys had hamburgers and I got this delicious veggie wrap and black bean soup to die for!! We topped it off with a chocolate gellato bowl that we all shared! I just love seeing my Dad he helps us out so much and we appreciate all he does for us! I love you Daddy!

Finn is also doing much better although he got stung by a hornet the other day (poor guy!) and is on the last day of his medication!! yay!! He also gets so excited when we go see our Townhouse he cant wait to move just like we can't!!

We decided we wanted to stop by this cute little frozen yogurt shop called Spoon Me while Jen was here. There are three different flavors to choose from Acai, Natural and Green Tea, then you get to choose any kinds of toppings you want, like berries, chocolate chips or fruit, it's really good!! I love frozen yogurt but it was kind of funny seeing Jenis reaction to it! I think she thought it was a little more like ice cream. Of course she still ate it! I was kind of dissapointed I really like Red Mango in Provo which is another frozen yogurt shop but I don't think this one is as good! Oh well all in all it was still a fun time!

Game Night!
After we had dinner and our frozen yogurt Jeni searched through our board games and picked this one! Sequence, its a fairly easy game and a lot of fun!! The object of the game is to play the cards from your hand on a corresponding space on the board, get five chips in a row and you win! Jeni was laughing so hard I thought she was going to pee her pants! It was a really fun night! Im so glad Jeni came to stay with us, it's made this week so much fun and we hardly ever get to see her!

Its Been a Long Week!!!

So far this week has been a little crazy!! My sister Jeni came to Logan with me to stay a few days and its been really nice having her here with us!! She has been playing halo with Codi. She brought the cartoon 101 Dalmations and we watched it last night and had Hamburgers, (well I had my Veggie Burger) ice cream and root beer! We also brought Our Finn home too!! Boy did he get sick! He stayed up all night the day we brought him home throwing up and having a very aweful case of diarrhea! Poor Finn!! That night I stayed with him in the bathroom and just laid there with the little guy he couldn't even get up! So we waiting until morning and took him to the Vet and we had no idea that he had so much going on!! We found out he has fleas and that its a huge posibility he has worms!! The reason why he was so sick is because he has Colitis! Which means he has a ton of bacteria in his tummy and they also told me hes really stressed out!! I feel just so bad that we have been stressing him out moving him around so much and not being with him for a while. I just can't wait till we get out of the apartment and can have him with us again! So Finn got a shot they drew some blood and he was negative for heartworms! phew! They put him on some antibiotics and dewormer and also Frontline which is a flea preventative and a Tapeworm preventative. It was actually good we had to take him in because we didn't know we needed to put him on all of this to keep him healthy so he will continue taking these things so he is a healthy little boy!! (Even though it was a VERY expensive visit!!) The Vet gave me so much information and a paper giving me exact instruction of what to feed him each day and how much. We were really lucky to have found such a great Vet! Today he has been soo hungry walking around trying to find something to eat but he can't eat until noon today and he gets chicken noodle broth!! and 7-up! He is doing soo much better!! We love our Finn!!!

Tonight, Jeni wants to go to Spoon me, which is a Frozen Yogurt place, we haven't been there yet but I hope its like Red Mango in Provo! So we don't have many plans but its nice to relax and I think Jeni is liking her mini Vacation!! We will take some fun pics tonight and post them later!

Easter at the Wests!
This year was our first Easter as Husband and Wife and we got to spend it at my parents house! It was so nice being home on Easter and surprisingly I was the last one up!! For Easter we usually go to my Grandmas house (moms mom) and have a really big Easter Egg Hunt but this year we decided to go to my other Grandma and Grandpas which is on my Dads side. It was so great being with our family and getting to eat lots of great food! We woke up and had a really fun Easter Egg hunt with my sisters and Codi. He won of course!! My mom made these really cool decorative eggs too! Shes so talented!

The Coffee Bean Queen!!
Forever Friends is the cutest little Coffee Shop ever! Its located in Rupert ID and my sweet little sissy works there! It was a good day full of desserts and presents and lots of food!! Finner the Winner!!

We love our dog Finn so much and I was just going through pictures today and I thought I would make a blog dedicated to our Finn!! We miss him a lot because right now he is living at my parents house in Rupert till we move into our new house! Its just so bittersweet! I go and visit him once a week and everytime I get there he gets soo excited! The last time we were there he thought I was leaving and he jumped in my car and wouldn't get out he was hiding on the floor I felt so bad that we have to leave him. I know hes having a great time at my parents though because he gets to lounge in the sun all day and play with his friends! We just can't wait to have him home!

A Tribute to You!!

I love my Husband so much and I know that he puts up a lot from me!! This first year being married has been the hardest and the most rewarding year of my life! I dont think I realized it until I looked back on all the trials and great times we have had together! I don't think that Codi realizes how much I really do appreciate him! So heres a list of the top ten reasons I love my Codi Wayne!

He has the most beautiful smile!! He smiles all the time, he even smiles when I'm so mad and yelling! Then he starts to count down 3...2...1 and he knows I'll always crack a smile and laugh when he gets to one! Then I forget why I'm angry!

He always gives me compliments even when I just roll out of bed! Whether I'm in my pajamas with no makeup and frizzy hair or I'm all dolled up he always tells me I'm beautiful!

He always makes sure I'm safe and protected! He checks up on me all the time whether I'm driving out of town or if I'm just home a few hours by myself he is always making sure I'm okay! He bought me this night light because I'm scared of the dark (which I might add he doesnt like any light when hes sleeping) so he keeps its on so I can sleep! Hes such a great guy!

He always helps me cook and clean! I'm a horrible cook for those who dont know...I'm definately getting better but that's only because of Codi. He comes home from work or school and always helps me do the dishes or help me cook. He says he likes to help me :) and when things are bad he eats them anyways! haha Hes the best!

Hes such a great Uncle! I watch him with his neices and nephew and I know hes gonna be a great dad! Hes always so careful and responsible! Thats so huge to me and I can't wait to have kids with Codi and start our own little family!

He NEVER raises his voice! He is the most calm and collected person I know and if he was more like me I don't think we would get along! :) He never yells at me even when I make him REALLY mad he just talks. He always says "Stop yelling" and I say "I'M NOT YELLING IM RAISING MY VOICE!!!" but he doesn't even raise his voice and I admire him so much for that it's such a great quality!

Hes nice to EVERYONE! My mom always told me "Treat people how you want to be treated" Well Codi is the prime example that he listened to his mom!! I dont know anyone that has not liked Codi he is always so nice to everyone no matter who they are!

Hes the most handsome man I've ever seen in my life! There is not one thing I would change about Codi hes got it all!! Looks, Body, and Brain! Im so lucky to have scored someone this good looking!! Too bad for him he drew the short end of the stick! ha

Hes my best friend! Once you are Codis friend he will always be loyal to you! He will stick up for the ones he loves and be around till the end! Hes not only my Husband but also my best friend and I couldn't have been more lucky.

Finally, its the little things that count. He is so good about always making sure I know he loves me! Not only the big ways but also in little ways like leaving me notes before work or squeezing my hand three times letting me know "I LOVE YOU" but this really made me smile the other day we were sitting on the couch and he LOVES watermelon and he was eating away when he put this in my lap...

On Christmas morning I usually always wake up with my sisters around 3 o clock

in the morning and sneak up the stairs and get all our presents without trying to wake up my parents! This year was a little different!! We didn't have to be sneeky at all and we could get up whenever we wanted to open presents...or so I thought!! I guess Mr. Snoozy had other plans in mind! I had to drag him out of bed too see what Santa brought us! It was such a great morning spending it with Codi being together on Christmas day! How could I forget about our little Finn he got presents too! What a happy family! After we played the Wii fit I got and tried on all my clothes and Codi tried to figure out all the gadgets he got we finally went back to sleep. Then it was time to go to his dads to open more presents! We stepped outside and it was a blizzard!! It snowed so much that day it took us a really long time to get out to the house! There was even a time we had to get rescued because his truck slid off the road! It was a very eventful first christmas together!!

Oh Christmas Time!!

Christmas Eve and Christmas was so great this year because FINALLY, we got to spend the whole two days together! Christmas Eve we spent with my parents in Rupert and its kind of a big deal cause santa clause comes and we all get presents! We have been doing this tradition for ever since I can remember! So it was Codis first year to sit on Santity Clauses lap! My mom has a really big family so it is always so fun getting together with all of my cousins and seeing my grandparents and aunts and uncles! Its such a special time of the year and we are so lucky to get to spend it with all the people we love!

I have been such a bad blogger so I'm making up for it and posting lots of stuff today!! Its been about a year since I've been on here so there has been lots of new exciting things that have happened! We are now living in Logan, UT while Codi goes to school I'm working at a salon here doing Massage it's called K salon and Spa and our cute little Finn is not here with us anymore cause we are buying a house (woohoo!) and he has to live with my parents for a little while in Rupert. We are so sad he isn't with us and as crazy as it sounds it's like a big part of us is missing! Well, looks like I have lots of pics to go through and lots of blogs to post so see you soon!

Christmas Tree Hunt!

This last weekend we went with Codis family to find our christmas tree!! It was soo crazy! my sister and I have never been to hunt down and cut our christmas tree before so it was a new experience for us. Surprisingly enough it turned out that we had a blast! It was so much fun. Even when we got lost we managed to make fun out of it. Codi had to pack our tree for fourty minutes all by himself I think hes pretty proud of that cause he keeps telling everyone about it! ;) It snowed the whole time and it was soo pretty! We packed a lunch and ate it in the truck. We took Finn with us on our little hike to find our tree and he had the best time of his life! We found out he loves the snow and he loves to eat it. He liked running and sliding on the packed snow. All of his friends came along too and after the long day they were exhausted!

This last weekend my mother in law invited me to visit Codis brother and his family in Utah!! It was tons of fun! I wish I had gotten more pictures. I got to see and play with my niece Dempsey she is soo cute and has grown so much! Us girls had lots of fun Shopping and hanging out. I got some Christmas shopping done and we ate some great food! We all went to express and I tried on the ugliest pants I could find and it actually surprised me because I loved them! haha they were tight pleather spandex pants haha. We had a good laugh. All in all it was a nice relaxing weekend I got to spend with my new family!

The Cove: Every year we go to the Cove and stay there a weekend and this year it was on Halloween weekend MY FAVORITE time to go there. We had so much fun Codi played Pool the whole weekend and we had tons of food to eat! We went and painted pottery and had a halloween party and watched scary movies!! Jessie and I dressed up as fairies it was sooo fun!! and we made our cute tutus which took me forever!! It was raining and pouring all day long and it was a bit chilly! but right in time for the ceremony it has stopped and was just absolutely beautiful for us!! I was the one that was hoping for clouds that day and what do you know...I got what I wished for! everything turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Codi looked amazing and I married my best friend! We even got a rainbow when we were in our driftboat it was sooo gorgeous! I'll have to post more pictures later!

Codis grandma passed away and we lost a very lovely lady in our lives July 22, 2008. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend to many people around her! Even though she is no longer here with us she is in a much better place with her husband in heaven, where she has wanted to be for some time now. The service was beautiful and so many people were there to remember such a great person! We will all miss her but know she is waiting for us all to be back with her someday. It was a long weekend for all of us but so great to be with family. My mom and sisters came down from Rupert for the funeral also it was very nice of them to come and show their respects to Codis family. Chris gave a tearjerking talk that gave me a better understanding of grandma in her earlier years. Lacie sang somewhere over the rainbow, it was the first time I have heard her sing and was amazing!! Codis dad, Brent gave a great prayer at the cemetary and Codi made a great picture slideshow and was one of the pallbearer along with his brothers and cousins. All in all it was a great service for a great lady that we will never forget!

Our Wedding Plans

Here are a few pictures of some things I have picked out for my wedding!!! First off we are getting married at the Rose River Reception place in Blackfoot, Idaho. We picked the BEST photographer EVER Kristi Sheriff and our Caterer is absolutely amazing Eric Sutherland and he has his own little menu he has in the making for us. My colors are going to be Orange Pink and Chocolate. The bridesmaids are going to be wearing the pink and Chocolate dresses I picked out from J crew. I am going to be wearing a GORGEOUS dress by Maggie Sottero but I am definately not posting it on here cause it has to be a surprise!! I picked out a Martha Stewart cake with cherry blossoms that are going to fade from pink to orange. Codi hasn't picked his grooms cake yet we are just waiting on him. Along with my bouquet the bridesmaids bouquets are going to reflect mine. Codis boutaneer is going to be a callalily that will match the flowers I will be holding. These are just a few things I have chosen can't wait to see you there!!

This is our new puppy Finn!! We love him so much and he is so much fun to play with. He is about 2 and a half pounds now and he has such a great personality. Everyday I take him on his walk and he absolutely hates it. I practically have to drag him on his leash and when we get a few yards away from the house he whines for me to pick him up and carry him the rest of the way. He loves taking naps under the shade and being lazy all day. He is so playful too, he loves chasing cats because they are more his size and thinks hes pretty tough when the big dogs let him lounge in the grass with them. We love our new little addition to the family!
